How our Ground Angels Volunteer

The most valuable gift an individual can give to another is the gift of TIME!

Volunteering is a way to give that precious gift to others.

Houston Ground Angels is a volunteer driven non-profit organization which could not exist or succeed without the dedicated service of our volunteers.

The Ground Angel will provide a welcoming spirit to those they serve.  A Ground Angel is a person that can navigate Houston an unfamiliar city for our clients/patients and a person who provides a respite from the constant thinking about the disease the patient is combating.  Volunteers interact with patients and their families, limited time with mission coordinators, and help spread the word of Houston Ground Angels with family, friends, neighbors, co-workers, employers etc. If you have a few hours or more to spare each month and would like to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients, we’d greatly appreciate hearing from you.
